After Jo Bowers successful qualification as a group tutor on Saturday 27 January, E-YARD members, Andy Dolman and Daniel Ball upgraded their associate status to full member when they took their RoADAR car tests on Sunday 28 January. New Tutor Jo, Bow(ers) In!
Congratulations to Jo Bowers who joins the E-YARD Tutor Team as a Group Car Tutor! Jo, who has been a RoSPA member since passing her RoADAR test in November 2015, and a member of E-YARD even longer, qualified as a group tutor on 27 January 2018. Jo is an active member of the group, and is a true petrol head, having completed rally driving courses amongst many other driving related activities. E-YARD's monthly meeting for the start of 2018 was held at East Coast Motorcycle World on Wednesday 24 January. Monthly Meeting - January 2018
E-YARD's first meeting of 2018 takes place on Wednesday 24 January. The meeting will be held at East Coast Motorcycle World, commencing at 1930 to 2100. E-YARD Accreditation
RoSPA's division that is responsible for local groups, RoADAR, has been developing an accreditation scheme to create a 'standard' for all groups to work towards and then comply with. The consultation process has been ongoing for around two years with each group in the country having an opportunity to agree, disagree and discuss the various elements and tweak them within the guidelines to suit. Motorcycle Expo 2018

2017 Review - Part Two!
July - Mid summer, seemed like good timing to look at sharing the road. The group meeting welcomed a couple of guest speakers from the equine fraternity. Who knew 'osses were frightened of pigs?!! Motorcycle tutors were issued with easily identifiable training vests. These vests are the same as RoSPA HQ issue to Diploma instructors and present a professional and corporate look to E-YARD. 2017 Review - Part One!
2017 commemorated the 100th Anniversary of our umbrella organistion - RoSPA along with the rebirth of our own group. East Riding of Yorkshire RoADAR had existed since 2007 and had gone through various phases but was a little tired after all this time! Meetings had been held in Market Weighton but due to access problems a new venue was sought. The committee met and recognised these issues and it was agreed re-branding and relaunch with a new venue would be a good way forward.
