On Reflection - What a Week!
Friday 6 May saw E-YARD (RoADAR East Yorkshire) deliver their annual tutor training trip to Scotland, an event designed to develop tutors and associates alike, and prepare tutors for their duties and associates for their tests. Concluding on Monday 9 May, the weekend resulted in two qualifications - Julian Burton with his advanced test, and Guy Gregory with his Advanced Tutor qualification. Inspired by the weekend, and encouragement from the tutor hub and their peers, Darren

Ivan the Great!
And the good times continue to roll! Saturday 14 May, and Ivan, the perennial stooge of tutor training weekends, eventually took the plunge and took his advanced test with examiner, Chris Hood. There may have been a little cajoling by the club tutors, but Ivan put in a stunning ride on his GS Rallye to deliver a stunning ride and top notch qualification. No nerves were detected...

Stringing it out no longer
Four years after obtaining his bike licence, and joining E-YARD in 2021, Darren Stringer took his advanced test on Friday 13th! Brave boy! Tutored by Adam Abel, and having benefited from the annual training weekend in Scotland, Darren qualified with a fantastic result on test conducted by examiner John Summerfield. Great testiment to a dedicated rider and team in getting another brilliant rider to a top standard.

It also meant that they would get some intense tuition from several different tutors to. expand their learning opportunities. Seventeen members of E-YARD, includ

He then took his Advanced Tutor test with examiner Chris hood on Sunday 8 May. With some excellent responses to questions, scenarios and written theory test, Guy completed with a stunning gold level ride up the Mennock Pass. He now joins the Advanced Tutor team of E-YARD as the club grows from st

Not gone for a Burton!
Julian Burton, a member of RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders East Yorkshire (E-YARD), and veteran of the Wiltshire group, attended the E-YARD Training weekend in Scotland, 6 - 9 May. Over the course of this weekend he was tested by examiner John Summerfield and delivered an excellent ride to a very high standard. Congratulations and well done Julian. This is also extended to Julians tutors, Dave Scott and Paul Morton, as well as the rest of the tutor hub for their input over
