July 21 - Saturday Coddiwomple
Tra, la, la - la,, la, la lah.... Thinking of renaming the Coddiwomples name to E-YARD Ice Cream Tours! Great Brittan!
And Great Brittan does it again! No, not early news from the Tokyo Olympics, but our very own Mr Bittan, Andy, followed up his excellent car pass last month with a double passing his bike re-test with the highest grade. Andy joined E-YARD (RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders East Yorkshire) way back in 2017, when the group was just rising from the ashes of the old one. Andy actually did his car test as a 'practice run' for his real advanced test with the other organisation!!! H

July Sunday Coddiwomple '21
After a week of glorious sunshine, England beating Germany, an 18 year old A level student only packing enough clothes for one night in London and then getting through the first round at Wimbledon, the weather forecast for the first Coddiwomple was - Yep! RAIN!!! Probably why only 4 stalwarts turned up at Beverley (oh, yeah, and BikeSafe was also on - see the other blog!) Dave Scott planned the route and led, with Pippa, Andy J and Ivan making up the Fantastic Four. South of

June exits in a blaze of glory!
To finish off the month of June, one which had seen some sense of normality coming back to E-YARD (RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders East Yorkshire) and its operating procedures, and also seen a plethora of test and re-test results, it was the Chair' turn! Our lock-down hursuit Chair, Mark Kelk, undertook his tri-annual RoSPA motorcycle retest. In atrocious conditions, John Summerfield tested Mark, expressing an opinion that they would be better doing it on Water-Bikes! Mark
