Welcome to the new Chair

Welcome Mark Kelk into his new role.

After many years of service to the group, John Wright decided it was time to step down as Chair of RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders East Yorkshire (E-YARD) in the Summer.

This decision prompted the requirement of the election of a new Chair for the group and to facilitate this an Extraordinary General Meeting was convened prior to the normal meeting on Wednesday 23 October at Beverley Golf Club.

Attended by 18 members, the Treasurer and Secretary, as well as the outgoing Chair, a quorum was sufficient to proceed with a vote by the paid up members present.

Proposed by Julian Taylor and Seconded by Julia Nendick, Mark Kelk was duly elected with a unanimous vote into the role of Chair.

Congratulations are extended to Mark, who has been a member of the group for two years and qualified as a Group Tutor in 2018.
