January 2020 Group Meeting

RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders - East Yorkshire (E-YARD) held it's first group meeting of the year at Beverley Golf Club on Wednesday 22 January.

Club Secretary Chris Hood led a review of the groups activities, successes, highs and lows of the previous 12 months.

The evening looked at what events the group had attended and been involved with, such as #RidetheWolds - our own season starting showpiece and other events such as Race the Waves, Hornsea Bike Fest, and other involvements with dealerships and local authorities.

Member passes were also celebrated with those present displaying their Certificates for Advanced Bike, Car and Tutor qualifications

The evening ended with a great buffet, prepared by the Beverley Golf Club restaurant 'The Marne' and a raffle organised by Chris and Dave Cross - some fantastic and some amusing raffle prizes were enjoyed!!

The next meeting is planned for Wednesday 26 February 2020
