Crowle Emergency Services Day 2019
For the second year in a row RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders East Yorkshire (E-YARD) were represented at the Crowle Emergency Services day Saturday 13 July 2019.
The annual event showcases the emergency services and how they operate. There are demonstrations from Fire, Police, Ambulance and military, and other connected services and groups.
The second time RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Rider East Yorkshire (E-YARD) have been fortunate to attend and promote road safety on behalf of RoSPA and give exposure to the work and product supplied by RoADAR groups
Represented by Julia and Carolyne, who also got to practice escape from a mobile 'house' used to train rescue, the also found themselves 'detained' by armed response and became involved with some form of firefighting!
Sharing a platform with Safer Roads Humber, a great deal of interest in our group was generated and the attraction of a free draw for a years membership resulted in many potential new members, either for our group or other groups due to the geographical draw of the event.
