Saturday 18 May was the second BikeSafe of the season, running out of the Beverley Fire Station.
RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders - East Yorkshire (E-YARD) supplied two tutors for the event, both new to the role.
Pippa, who did the first BikeSafe of the season as a qualifier, and Andy T for whom it was his inaugural event were our reps!
Rather than just carry out the assessed ride aspect, both Andy & Pippa sat through the classroom part of the workshop to understand fully what the candidates were receiving and to supplement their delivery on the riding assessments.

The following email was received from Howie, the BikeSafe co-ordinator:
"Please can you pass on my thanks to Pippa and Andy for their efforts today.
Hopefully some of todays candidateswill sign up to some form of recognised training"
Both Andy & Pippa will be representing E-YARD at future BikeSafe workshops, as they join the team of approved BikeSafe assessors
