Breakfast Club 2019 is now open...and there's cake!

After a change of date - the original date was Mothers Day, which may have caused a few problems - RoSPA Adavnced Drivers and Riders East Yorkshire, E-YARD, met at the Beverley Golf Club at the traditional 8-am

A great turnout in bright Spring sunlight saw the group ride from Beverley, to Yorkshire Gliding Club and eventually Manor Farm Cafe at Leyburn.

The gang road cross country, avoiding the "main" biking routes, through the Yorkshire Wolds, over the Howardian Hills through Castle Howards grounds and on to the 'White Horse' near Byland Abbey and onto the first stop for tea and, of course, cake, at the Yorkshire Gliding Club, Sutton Bank

Leaving the Club there was a, 'ahem' slight detour, along a few 'goat tracks' (Julian T is still swearing at Hoody!) before heading, through Thirsk and then cross country to Leyburn and on to lunch stop at Manor Farm Cafe, a popular bikers haunt.

As it was the first ride of the season, Andy B and Ivan were still trying to 'bed' into their saddles!

A spot of lunch...and did we mention cake again Ivan?

After a fuel stop for the sportsters, a run along the A684 and onto Thirsk, Sutton Bank and Malton, final goodbyes were celebrated with a cup of tea (more cake?!) at Seaways before everyone made their own way home.

A fantastic day out, great company and certainly blew the cobwebs away!

There is no scheduled Breakfast Club Rideout in April, due to the RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders, E-YARD organised event at the Wolds Way Cafe, Market Weighton

#ridethewolds - free advanced taster session day

The next Breakfast Club Rideout is scheduled for Sunday 12 May.
