October Review
October opened it's account with another Driver Progressive Development Course, run by Andy Trevor, ably assisted by Vice Chair and Tutor Jo B and Training officer/Tutor, Julian T.
Two car 'newbies' in the form of Guy Gregory (bike - trainee tutor) and Charlie (brand new associate who has signed up for car and bike) formed the rest of the crew, which split into two teams!
This offered the opportunity for the tutors to carry out quality checks one one another in both terms of their own driving abilities as well as fault identification, teaching and feedback, all aimed at raising and maintaining the high standards of E-YARDs (RoSPA East Yorkshire) tutor training hub
Not to be outdone, Rosie took Charlie out for an initial bike assessment (he's a busy boy!) and her associate Rod, earlier in the first week of the month.
Mark K was also holding the bike tutors end up with sessions out with his associate Paul during the week.
Peter O'Grady took his motorcycle test on 8 October and moved from Associate to Member status. Well done Peter!
Mid-week training continued with Mark and Paul out again on an unseasonal, certainly not Hull Fair weather, glorious sunny day!
Some photography lessons are required however!
It continued with Dave H and Carolyne enjoying another glorious day in the sun Carolyne hasn't had the chance to get out with Dave recently and the midweek session was beneficial. A good advert for E-YARD (RoADAR East Yorkshire)'s flexible approach to tutoring with allocated tutors sorting mutually suitable times and dates with their associates
Perhaps Dave H could give Mark some tips on selfies...

RoADAR East Yorkshire's Breakfast Club's planned ride to Tan Hill was somewhat thwarted by the remnants of Storm Callum - the five stalwarts terminating the ride with tea and cake at Helmsley!
The monthly group meeting took place on Wednesday 24 October with Advanced Tutor Ian Streets delivering a presentation on Overtaking.
The second meeting at our new venue saw a fantastic turnout of 24 members, associates and potential new members.
RoADAR East Yorkshire once again received some great exposure in the RoSPA national magazine Care on the Road with a whole page and ywo articles dedicated to the groups efforts and actions, as reported in last months Review
