Bomber Run
Well the first Breakfast Club ride of the year went really well! Meeting at 8am for breakfast at East Coast Motorcycle World, after a quick briefing the gang set off at 9.15.
A ride through Driffield on to Pocklington via the Warter Road, Bubwith, then stopping for tea and pee at California Garden Centre, Howden.
Refreshed, the ride continued through Old Goole then down the fantastic A161 to Owsten Ferry and on to Scampton for lunch at Dambusters Inn.
Treated to a solo display by a Red Arrow (Red 5?!!!) and an impromptu meet up with Sal Weighill (of MCN fame lol!) the journey went on to the IBCC - International Bomber Command Centre memorial. Add luck would have it, a free guided tour was offered and taken!
The final ride saw the group head north to Caistor High Street before final farewells at Barney's café Barnetby Top.
Around 180 miles in total. Great ride. Great company. Great fun!
