Busy Weekend Coming!

With the weather (hopefully) changing and Spring starting to slowly come in, E-YARD are starting the season off with a BANG!

Saturday 14 April will see E-YARD's inaugural Breakfast Club DRide (Drive/Ride) taking place.

Initially planned for 1 April, weather saw the event put back to this weekend.

Meeting at 8 am for breakfast (Breakfast Club - get it!?) at East Coast Motorcycle World, Hutton Cranswick, the group will leave at 9 am and head deep into WWII Bomber Command territory. The county was pivotal to the result of the second world war, with most of Bomber Commands air fields based in Lincolnshire due to it's proximity to mainland Europe and particularly the occupied countries and Germany. Most people know the story of the Dambusters, 617 Squadron, but if you want to see some of the memorabilia and absorb some of the history we'll be taking lunch at the Dambusters Inn at Scampton. We'll also be visiting the International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) just to the south of Lincoln.

Sunday is the Advanced Taster Day.

Come along and have a taste of Advanced Riding with one of our tutors who will take you out for an accompanied ride around the Wolds of East Yorkshire and give you some feedback and advice on riding techniques you may not have tried before. Book in with one of the E-YARD team when you arrive, or contact us to book an assessed ride before the day. If you're interested in the BikeSafe initiative, there will be members of the team to advise you. East Coast Motorcycle World will have the cafe and shop open too, as well as other stands and organisations involved in the motorcycle and road safety in general.
